Are you looking for all-inclusive 6-star luxury on a ship that has a little formality to bring to mind the golden age of ocean liners? Is an extensive entertainment and enrichment programme with guest luminaries important to you? If so, then read on…
Regent Seven Seas is distinguished by its all-included policy. The price of your cruise covers round trip air travel (Business class for Penthouse suites), ground transfers, unlimited shore excursions, beverages (including wine and spirits) and room service. There is also no extra charge when you eat in the specialty restaurants on board.
The fleet consists of three ships offering the ultimate in six-star luxury cruising. The Voyager and Mariner both carry 700 passengers whilst the smaller Navigator takes 490. All three have a very good staff to client ratio with 445 crew on the larger ships and 345 on the Navigator. There’s a touch of the golden age of luxury liners about a Regent cruise, formal or semi-formal evening wear is optional on cruises of 16 days or longer, but many guests enjoy the glamour of dressing for dinner.
On board, you’ll find plenty to entertain you with the Canyon Ranch® Spa offering a range of relaxing treatments, a library, boutiques and an internet café where you can update friends and family on your progress via email. Cruises in the school holidays and summer months offer the Club Mariner Youth Programme run by experienced youth counsellors for 5-17 year olds, divided by age group. Regent ships all have three to four dining venues offering cordon bleu cuisine, continental menus, classic American steakhouse fare and light lunches and snacks.
Regent’s ‘Enrichment Programme’ includes a variety of activities from lectures on art history and photography to Cordon Bleu cookery lessons and introductions to the dance styles of the region you’re visiting. Many cruises feature Audrey Grant’s Better Bridge tutors who run classes for beginners and experienced players. One of the highlights of Regent cruises is their programme of special events, talks and lectures from guest luminaries. You might listen to ‘Jungle’ Jack Hanna’s anecdotes about his life, travels and hands-on approach to wildlife conservation. Or be captivated by a musical performance from Rita Moreno, one of the only actresses to win an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony.
Regent’s destinations include itineraries in Africa, India, Asia Pacific, Alaska, Canada and New England, the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, South America, the Tropics and the trip-of-a-lifetime world cruises.
